Meet Your Designer
Courtney Anderson
I have been designing and developing websites, advertising, and social media content for over 10 years. What started as a fun hobby in my teens has turned into a passion I utilize to help others. I like to view web design as another avenue of artistic expression, one with endless possibilities. I started what is now Kindling WD five years ago when I noticed several businesses struggling with their online presence in our local community. Frustrated for them and wanting to help, I reached out to them and offered my services. Since then, I've been helping small businesses and nonprofits across Southwestern Montana.
A little bit about me:
My husband, Wes, and I married in 2012, and we've had many amazing adventures over the years. We started out in the oilfields of North Dakota, my husband working rigs, while I worked on a friend's family ranch. We moved to Montana in 2015, and started a small restaurant and catering service in 2016. We had an amazing four-year run until Covid hit our area hard and try as we might, we had to close our doors in June of 2020. In that time, we served many amazing customers from all over the world, as well as some pretty famous people. One exceptionally cool fun fact is that we catered for Season 2 of Yellowstone up on the Dutton Ranch. We also sold them a wood stove for use in 1923.
As if running a business and catering service isn't busy enough, during that time, I also attended the University of Montana Western where I finished my Bachelor's degree in Molecular Bioscience.
However, in all the adventures we've had, we embarked on our biggest one yet in June of 2022, when we welcomed our son, Wyatt into the world. He is the light of our lives and we're having a blast watching him learn and grow.
I have two border collies, Annie and Billy, a cat - Missy, and my horse - Blue.
